Dave Dawson ( 5'7 170 lbs) Personal best of 4.38 sec. 40 yard sprint & 40 inch vertical jumpPound for pound one of the strongest and most explosive athletes to come out of PennsylvaniaDave Dawson currently runs Elite Fitness and Sports Performance in Camp Hill , Pennsylvania. Dawson has been training and studying sports performance for over 15 years. He has spent time training and studying all over the country, where he has had the opportunity to train under some of the best trainers in world. Dawson has trained with many elite level athletes who have performed in the NFL, MLB, NBA, PGA, and Olympics. Elite Fitness and Sports Performance has worked with many collegiate athletes, including National Championship teams, Division 1 men's basketball teams and a variety of male and female college bound athletes.College At the University at Buffalo, Dawson made the best of a rebuilding program where he was able to set and hold numerous records at tailback and on special teams. Dave Dawson achieved All- Mac Candidate his junior and senior seasons. Dawson averaged 5.6 yards a carry which made him the University’s all time leader as a Division I team. Dawson also holds 5 of the top 10 longest runs in school history and is in the all-time top ten for all-purpose yards with over 2,600 yards in 3 years. Dawson carried for over one hundred yards against Marshall , the Mac Champions , twice in his career and also holds one of the longest touchdown runs in Marshall Stadium history of 83 yards. Dawson holds the first and second longest TD runs in UB Division I history. Dawson excelled on special teams and led his team in special teams tackles two years in a row and is also in the record book for career kickoff return average. Dawson played tailback and wide receiver due to great hands, great speed, and ability in space… excellent change-of-pace runner who has great ability to make people miss and gain yards after initial contact. Dawson also shows great versatility on special teams where he has proved to be a tremendous “gunner” on UB’s punt teams and excelled on UB’s kickoff return teams.High School Had great productivity at Bishop McDevitt high school where he was the first player to break former NFL standout Ricky Watters all- time rushing record. Dawson rushed for over 3,000 yards and racked up 28 touchdowns in only 16 games in a highly recognized AAAA league. Dawson made the Pennsylvania AAAA All State Team his senior year and was a two-time MVP of the Mid- Penn Conference. In addition, he had a solid basketball career. As the starting point guard, he helped lead his team to the district and state basketball tournaments 3 years in a row.
